These Straight 6's have alot of go once you get past ~2k..noticed even in sport+, when under 2-3k the car bucks when letting off throttle..

My F90 has a soft limiter in Park at least (not sure about neutral), and I assume the F97/8 does as well, so maybe if it was in Park, it wouldn't sound like much. I still think most performance cars have better exhaust notes out of the box than Bimmers anyways, so that's part of it too

It also sounds like they short shifted the X4M on the first roll race. Can't tell if they are shifting manually or not.

These SUVs are essentially made for that lol... it would be even weirded to go around a track in one of these albeit they can... I did in the X3M and it felt weird but it did well.

Sounds like it's in comfort exhaust when reving wasn't even in sport plus and the shifts did not seem aggressively on sport plus.

Speaking from a x4m competition owner this guy needs to push the m2 button and it would have shifted much faster and destroy those cars, he was definitely a rookie driver.

I got to drive around the BMW track in Thermal in an X5MC. Even though I own one, it still amazed me at what it could do. I also drove an M3C and M5C and as expected, they were excellent due to their lower height and weight. But of course, the best was the M2C.

BMW we appreciate the speed but the exhilaration comes from the exhaust. A good exhaust note can inflate you to think your car is faster then it is. Ask a Dodge SRT about that…

I think we all knew the X3M Competition and X4M Competition was fast but this is absolutely hilarious! I must say I do love my X3M Competition, it's a genuinely great family car. Spanked a RR SVR the other day, he was shocked, I can tell you 😂

This seems like a common issue with these car reviewers; they just smash the gas and hope for the best, but who knows what settings they're actually in. I always feel like I could get more out of my own M than they ever do.
